Careers

At the International School of Paphos, we guide our pupils every step of the way regarding IGCSE, ‘AS’ and ‘A’ Levels and future career options.  We have at our disposal materials which pupils, with our help, can have recourse to.  These include reference books, university prospectuses and access to the Internet.

Year 9 are given assistance with their IGCSE Options to ensure that they follow a balanced curriculum which will support any career aspirations but also allows for flexibility.  Year 11 are similarly supported with their choice of ‘AS’ and ‘A’ Level subjects.

Years 12 and 13 are assisted with their university applications.  Pupils who are pursuing non-academic careers are also given guidance and support.  Students have the opportunity to attend organised visits to the British Council, Education Fairs and presentations by universities and are thus in a position to make informed choices about their future.
