Welcome Message from Dr. Litsa Olympiou the Headmistress at The International School of Paphos.

The pages of a prospectus or a website can only hint at what a school is really like. It is people and relationships that matter more than glossy pictures and clever words. The following pages will, I hope, give you a flavour of what life is at The International School of Paphos and that you will want to visit us.

We have established a friendly environment in a well-equipped, state of the art facility which aims to instil in our pupils a set of attributes, skill and values that will enable them to make informed choices, grow in self-confidence, and fulfil their personal academic potential. We encourage pupils to develop their talents and enjoy their studies. They are challenged to develop a sense of responsibility that will enable them to make a real difference in the world and equip them to become international citizens of the twenty-first century.

We care about results, but not exclusively. We believe that education is about more than grades. It is about independent thought and critical thinking,. It is about the benefits of team spirit, of cultural awareness and academic ambition. It is about growing up as an individual in a caring community. This is what we aspire to and deliver with the help of our dedicated staff.

I look forward to welcoming you and your family.
