On Friday 20th October 2017, our Primary School supported the Global Action Aid campaign “Big Me.” Children from Reception Class to Year 6 were allowed to come dressed as what they want to be when they are older. The school was brimming with excitement, as pop stars, pilots and footballers roamed the premises. The children discussed their hopes and dreams for the future, but they also learned that a small donation can make a big difference for somebody else. In an economically less developed country, it may cost just €30 to educate a child living in poverty for a year. Our school made a real difference by contributing €150.00. We enjoyed exploring our future together while also helping to change the lives of others.
