The International School of Paphos (Private) is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Financial Controller to join its dynamic team.
Job Requirements:
- Overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of the Accounts department, ensuring all daily financial transactions and activities are carried out accurately and in a timely manner
- Developing and managing the organisation’s financial plans, including annual budgets, strategic business plans, and cash flow forecasts, to support decision-making and financial stability
- Ensuring all financial records are recorded systematically and accurately in accordance with legal, regulatory and organisational standards
- Overseeing debtor collections and purchasing processes, including the reconciliation of accounts, to ensure timely payments and accurate records
- Performing additional tasks and responsibilities related to the role that may arise as required by the Top Management Team of the organisation
Qualifications and Skills:
- Holder of ACA, ACCA, CPA or similar qualification
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Economics and Finance or in any other relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in a related role
- Knowledge of financial regulations, VAT and tax compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly excel and data analysis
- Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written
