About PRIMARY SCHOOL
‘Give us the seedling and we will give you the tree.’ Children are like seeds; nurture them like plants so they become the shade of tomorrow.
In our Primary School, we build a community where children are more than just educated. They feel safe and supported. We aim to empower our children to enhance their own lives and the lives of those around them. We are worthy role models who inspire through a love of learning and encourage to make a positive influence on each other’s lives. Together, we continually strive to remove barriers to success and fear of failure. Each student gains the self-confidence and motivation for personal success.
The Primary School caters for the needs of children from Pre-Reception to Year 6. Our mission is to serve each and every one of our pupils, from the youngest to the oldest as part of our school family and as an individual. The Primary School includes the Infant classes (Pre-Reception, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2) and the Junior School (Years 3, 4, 5 and 6).
The school follows the English National Curriculum, but has a more flexible approach, as it is mindful of the local educational needs and culture. It is a private Cypriot School which adheres to directives from the Ministry of Education and Culture. The staff maintains an empathy with the student body and its varied academic needs. Furthermore, most of our staff members are bilingual which allows for better communication with the pupils.
Our children journey through the Primary School, gaining a memory bank of learning experiences that optimistically impact on them for the rest of their lives. The children develop learning habits and values highlighting our academic and pastoral goals.
‘Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all’ – Aristotle
