The teenage theatre group of The International School of Paphos will present #Disconnected, a powerful theatrical play by Stefani Mavrokordatou, as part of their participation in the 37th Pan-Cyprian School Theatre Games organised by THOC.

The play explores the emotional isolation experienced by teenagers in the digital age, following the stories of six girls and one teacher. Each character faces different personal struggles — obsession with appearance, relationship pressures, the need for acceptance, eating disorders, inner conflicts, and dependence on technology.

Through scenes set at school, in the courtyard, and at home, the audience witnesses their silent cry for communication and understanding. The production combines realistic dialogue with elements of physical theatre, raising a central and thought-provoking question:

“Without the screen… who am I?”

#Disconnected offers a powerful commentary on alienation, the need for authentic human connection, and the ongoing search for identity in a hyperconnected world.

We look forward to welcoming our community to this meaningful and impactful performance.
