We are seeking to recruit a full-time Mathematics Teacher to join our growing team at The International School of Paphos.
Requirements
- Inspire and challenge pupils to unlock their full potential
- Promote the highest standards of teaching, learning and assessment
- Create a lively, communicative atmosphere in class conducive to teaching and learning
- Effectively plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the relevant schemes of work
- Engage in oral and written dialogues with parents/guardians/carers to provide feedback about their child’s progress
- Tactfully deal with behavioural issues in accordance with the school’s policies
- Adhere to all school rules, procedures and practices, such as health and safety, data protection, equal opportunities, safeguarding, and pupils’ well-being
- Promote the school in a positive light to the wider community
- Keep up-to-date with current educational policies and practices
- Undertake additional tasks, as assigned by the management of the school
Minimum qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree in Mathematics, which is recognised by The Cyprus Council of Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications (KY.S.A.T.S.)
- Excellent command of the English language
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
