October has always been a special and productive month for our school’s Greek Department. Within the frame of Greek Week and the celebrations for the National Day of October 28, various events were organised again this year. Many activities were carried out both in the Primary and the Secondary School, in which many Departments of the school participated enthusiastically. The theme of this year’s Greek Week was “Metron Ariston” or “Pan Metron Ariston”, which became a tradition. The students and their teachers researched, created and presented their work based on the value of “Μέτρον”, which is also the core principle of “The International School of Paphos” and adorns the emblem of our school. Among other activities, there was a theatrical show, Greek dances, a visit to archaeological sites and a Food Bazaar. The events culminated with assemblies held on October 24 and October 26, to honour the celebrations of October 28 and the heroic “OXI” of the Greeks, which largely determined the outcome of World War II.
