The International School of Paphos hosted the 2023 ‘Chinese Spring Festival Gala’ organised by the CCCA Cyprus – Chinese Commercial Association, on Saturday, 14th of January. His Excellency, the Ambassador of China in Cyprus, Mr Yantao Liu, and Mrs Yahui Hou attended the ceremony, as well as other local officials, including representatives of the Municipality of Paphos, Municipality of Peyia, Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth, Confucius Institute, Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and more. The event was successful and well attended, with an exciting artistic programme that included traditional Chinese songs and dances, a selection of Greek songs and culminating in Cyprus traditional dances where all the guests were invited to participate.
The Ambassador before the beginning of the event asked for a short tour at the school’s premises. The Managing Director Mrs Aristi Andriotis, along with the Head of the School Dr Litsa Olympiou, the Head of Primary Mrs Elena Kotsovos, other members of ISOP staff and honoured guests showed part of our premises and presented our school.
