The annual United Nations Climate Change Conference will take place from 30th of November – 12th of December 2023. Cyprus, as part of the European Union, will be presenting challenges and solutions to particular demands of this Mediterranean island, while joining negotiations on how to confront our local, national and global carbon footprint.
Topics include the oceans, science, land use, education and youth, technology, innovation, the Sustainable Development Goals and more.
Orestis Karghotis, of Terra Cyprus, will join ISOP Eco-Coordinator Marina Flevotomas, in a presentation, in the Media Room, on Monday, 27th of November, at 14:15. The presentation will highlight the negotiations, Cyprus’ position and solutions to the climate crisis.
