As every year, our school joins the Goethe-Institut and the German Embassy in their efforts to promote the beauty of the German language, during the “Weeks of celebrating the German Language” which take place from the 30st of October to the 19th of November.

Our school, as a PASCH School (Schools: Partners for the future), will contribute with a MOVIE NIGHT. The movie “Emil und die Detektive” (Emil and the detectives) in German, with English subtitles, will be shown in the Media Room on 22nd November (Friday) at 6.30pm for secondary students.

The event is open to the public, so please bring your friends and family members along.

About the movie: “Emil and the Detectives” is a classic German children’s film based on the novel by Erich Kästner. The story follows young Emil, who is robbed while traveling to Berlin. With the help of a group of brave child detectives, he sets out to catch the thief. Together, they embark on thrilling adventures, demonstrating that courage and friendship can overcome any challenge. The film is a captivating blend of suspense, humour, and heart, enchanting both children and adults alike.

Supported, as always, by the Goethe-Institut, the movie night becomes even more enjoyable with some popcorn and refreshments.
