We are thrilled to announce that our students, Andriana Polemiti and Ciara Economopoulos, have been selected as part of the four dancers representing Cyprus in the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest! Out of over 160 entries, both students made it through an intense day of auditions and emerged as participants in the final four dancers—an incredible achievement!
Cyprus will participate in Junior Eurovision this November, with Maria Pissarides singing for our country in Madrid. This marks Cyprus’ return to Junior Eurovision after last competing in 2017 in Tbilisi, Georgia. Maria will represent Cyprus in what will be the country’s 10th appearance in the contest.
The auditions for the Cyprus Team offered a fantastic opportunity for young dancers across the island to work alongside the renowned Artistic Director, Layla Ellison. More than 160 submissions were received, with over 100 dancers invited to audition. After much deliberation, four dancers were selected to join Maria on stage: Andriana Polemiti, Adriana Markich, Ciara Economopoulos, and Danae Petrou.
We are incredibly proud of Andriana and Ciara, looking forward to seeing them shine on this prestigious international stage!
