The achievements of our students continue to impress, both in the classroom and beyond. On Sunday 11th of May, four teams—two from Primary and two from Secondary—proudly represented ISOP at the Cyprus Team Chess Championship 2025, held in Nicosia.

Each team consisted of four students, and their performance was nothing short of exceptional.

One of our Primary teams secured an impressive 3rd place.

In the Secondary category, one of our teams clinched 1st place, showing great skill and teamwork:

Our second Secondary team also delivered a strong performance, achieving 3rd place:

• Liliia Zakirova (Yr7)

• Alexey Anikin (Yr8)

• Matvei Karavashkin (Yr7)

• Yue Hang Xu (Yr8)

We extend our delighted congratulations to all participating students for their remarkable accomplishments and for representing ISOP with pride and excellence.
