We are very happy to announce that our school’s participation in the Pan-Cypriot Student Competition entitled «Ο καρκίνος μέσα από τα μάτια μου» (Cancer through my eyes) for the MUSIC category, received the 3rd Prize, among 320 participants.

The competition was organised for the third consecutive year by the Oncology Centre of the Bank of Cyprus and other associations/organisations dealing with the topic of cancer, under the auspices of The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth and The Ministry of Health, and the cooperation of the Bank of Cyprus.

This initiative is part of the campaign to inform and raise awareness among the public and especially young people, about World Cancer Day which is celebrated every year on February 4 and World Childhood Cancer Day, on February 15.

The competition prizes were awarded at a special awards ceremony held on Thursday, 30 June 2022, at the Municipal Theatre of Strovolos.

The first 6 projects from each category (essay, song composition, visual work) were awarded and the first three winners of each category received cash prizes from the Bank of Cyprus.
