The International School of Paphos is pleased to announce its upcoming school drama production, Outrageous Fortune — a creative and humorous reinterpretation of Shakespeare’s tragic world.

This original performance brings together students and teachers in an imaginative and engaging theatrical experience. In Outrageous Fortune, some of Shakespeare’s most iconic tragic characters find themselves in an unexpected setting: a self-help group, where they are encouraged to confront their destinies and reflect on the choices that shaped their stories. The production explores an intriguing question — can fate be changed, or are tragic heroes destined to remain bound by it?

Blending comedy, creativity, and thoughtful reflection, the play offers audiences a fresh perspective on classical literature while highlighting the talent, collaboration, and dedication of our school community.

The production is sponsored by the ISOP PTA, and entrance is free.

We are also proud to share that the visual identity and poster for Outrageous Fortune were designed by one of our students, Olivia Bagautdinova, whose artwork has been used across all promotional materials, including posters, banners, and flyers.
